Given the nature of man, who have evolved from lower animal species, still possessing many straits from the animal kingdom, it is too complex a problem to grasp what could be a common enlightened ground of development for all the diverse races of human beings, who have grown in different natural environments and social climates.
Though we all belong to the same human race, there exist large differences among us as regards evolution of mind which the individuals possess. As I have described in my page on philosophy and spirituality, we are not simply products of matter. Our perception and experience of “reality” depend on how we receive information from the realm of consciousness which has multifarious dimensions. Most human life projects the primary level which involves survival and security of living, and continuation of life in the next generation. Concept of freedom is often associated with the freedom from needs and satisfaction of the natural drives of reproduction and the mammalian emotions regarding care of the progenies. Freedom in higher form extends outside this instinctual life. They represent higher needs like freedom to explore the inner realm which is not visible and perceptible as material objects in the world.
I have described the evolution of the mind as stages of development which give human beings the possibilities to experience “realty” at different levels. The higher minds are able to enjoy freedom from the law-
I have expressed my views about meaning, freedom, spirituality and values in the web pages where I have written about the nature of the world and the will and the meaning of spirituality among others. One should refer to those pages in order to get a better perspective of my views about an enlightened social order.
WHAT IS AN ENLIGHTENED WAY?
Every life, in whatever stage of development one may find oneself in, provides opportunities to move to a higher stage. Any movement which leads to a higher level of freedom of the mind from the bondage of the conditions to the material world, and thus brings experiences of the spiritual nature of life, is a step towards an enlightened way. It is like mountain climbing with progressively higher heights to attain. More one reaches higher height more one gets rid of the drag of the material conditions which pull life towards nature, and thus feels free from the the law-
This climbing gives opportunities to help other human beings on the way. By following the enlightened way one may reach a realm of wonder and beauty of an illumined world where one may share peace, joy and tranquility together.
Enlightened acts of life are not only to move towards a higher path, but also to protect the fellow journeymen from falling into danger. These acts are expressions of love for others. Enlightened movement is thus a way to experience love outside the boundary of biological necessities of life.
WHAT DOES AN ENLIGHTENED SOCIAL-
An enlightened social-
The goal of an enlightened order is to free human beings from ignorance, bondage and conditions of imprisonment caused by the lack of awareness of one`s own power and possibilities. It will teach human beings to counteract movements of the darker forces of life which may try to pull life towards the instinct-
Enlightened order will provide the grounds of understanding of freedom and meaning of life which would support values resulting in the higher evolution of man. It will counteract any development which may lead human beings in a regressive path. The spiritual freedom will weigh higher than the instinctual freedom which man may have inherited from the lower animal kingdom.
It will secure the path which will inspire human beings to pursue the higher nature of oneself as loving and compassionate being and seek to challenge and defeat those who do not believe in love and compassion as the strongest force of life. In other words, enlightened order gives higher priority to life which seeks path of higher evolution which may bring harmony and order, and discourages pursuits of life which may create chaos and disorder.
